Gold Coast Triumph
Hannah returned from the Commonwealth Games after a month of intensive training and competition. As the youngest Gymnast on the English team, Hannah’s achievements shone out. She came 7th in the overall competition and narrowly missed a medal in the ball final coming a close 5th.
In her own words, the journey to Gold Coast triumph was a ‘roller coaster’ ride, and an “amazing experience”.
“Wow, wow, wow… what an amazing experience… this journey to commonwealth was a crazy rollercoaster of a ride, but honestly the most amazing experience. I would like to take a minute to thank everyone who helped me to get to commonwealths and supported me during my games. Family, friends, coaches, doctors, and physios from team England, I can’t thank you all enough 🙏🏻 you enabled me to perform at my best.
Overcome with so many emotions right now, and feel so thankful. Coming 7th in the all-around final was a massive achievement for me, and managing to come 5th in the ball final was another massive highlight…Feeling so privileged to have competed in this event representing my beautiful country, and I can’t wait to see what the future will bring 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙏🏻❤”
Hannah is presently completing her GCSE exams, and is beginning preparations for World Championships in September. She will also be starting college and be part of a pioneer group of gymnasts establishing Britain’s first Rhythmic Gymnast academy educational program.
